Peer Review Process

In order to be published on the Archives for the Philosophy and History of Soft Computing, each article will be reviewed by anonymous experts, from humanities and from hard sciences. Reviewers are chose among the Editorial Board memers, based on their experience in the field of the article. Exceptionally, reviewers from outside the Boards can be involved, especially if the article covers frontier topics. APHSC has a strong stance against plagiarism. Before publication all papers will be checked against known publication databases, and in case plagiarism is detected, the paper will be turned down and the original authors informed. Self plagiarism is also discouraged (it is still OK to re-use definitions from own previous works providing all authors of the previous contribution agree). Authors suspecting plagiarism in already published articles should immediately contact the editor.

Publication Frequency

Archives for the Philosophy and History of Soft Computing publishes two issues per year, usually in spring and fall.

Monographic issues will be published on a free schedule.
